Sighting Detail

10 miles east of Hwy 6 and Hwy 105 - Navasota, TX
2013-04-28
This last Sunday, I took a drive out Hwy 105 from Conroe towards Navasota, hoping to see some wildflowers. I was rewarded by this vast field of Indian Blankets and Black Eyed Susans, as well as others. Anyone wanting to correct me on name, please do. I use the model to show the vastness of the field. It is on the south side of Hwy 105. Please see the pix.

The yellow could well be black-eyed susans, but the red is Gaillardia pulchella, known as firewheels and Indian blankets.
